Note: HATFIELD LAKES is located The South Central Iowa.....which is an area unmatched for woodland and prairie habitat..........With 2500 acres of publicly owned woodland and upland prairie.

Within 3-9 miles, we enjoy Green Valley State Park, McKinnley Lake, Summit Lake, 3-Mile Lake and 12-Mile Lake. In our surrounding Iowa State Parks, we have wildlife habitat for white tail deer, quail, geese, ducks, wild turkey, pheasants and other upland species. This part of Iowa is known for year round angling..........walleye, crappie, bluegill, and trophy bass.

GREEN VALLEY LAKE is a short, three mile drive, south of Hatfield Lakes. Green Valley Lake has 14 miles of hiking trails, a 360 acre lake, 990 acre park, fishing, water skiing, and a sandy beach.

SUMMIT offers crappie, largemouth bass and blue gill, and in-season hunting.....and the Crestmoor golf course, shown, overlooks Summit Lake.

TWELVE MILE LAKE offers 1,000 acres of upland game habitat. Twelve Mile Lake is open to in-season hunting of whitetail deer, wild turkey, pheasant, duck and goose hunting. (photo shown above)

THREE MILE LAKE offers 24 miles of shoreline, fishing.....and, sailing, power boat, and water skiing (on the lower part of the lake). Three mile is also a designated Canada Goose Refuge. (photo shown above)
